Sunday Share...

So this is what I came up with this week with my sketches from last Saturday. Pretty straight forward! But very fun to add a few unexpected embelishments for example, on my tag I added paper piercing at the bottom & on my 8x8" scrapbook page I added rhinestone brads to the flowers and also in my title as the "O's" in GOOD. Check back here next Sunday to see what I come up with for yesterday's sketches!

Sunday Share...

These are my samples using the Page Maps as a guide. I hope they inspire you to go create and explore the possiblilities. As you can see...I have been using up all my retired DSP like this Bella Rose - which I LOVED. So I had to use it here on these three projects for this week!

AS AN ADDED BONUS FOR SUNDAY SHARE...

I wanted to share a 12x12 scrapbook page I made using a Scallop Circle cut from the Big Shot Die Cut Machine, the hand held Scallop Circle Punch, and the Round Tab Scallop Circle Punch. These created the dresses. The purses & dress decorations are made from more SU! punches...can you fihure out which ones???

ENJOY! KENDRA

Friday's "Stamp Set Spotlight"...

Today's set spotlight is...Petal Pizzazz.
You can find this set in the new catalog on page 113 and in the old catalog on page 90. It is a set of (7) for $32.95. Below are four cards I designed using this set. It is very versatile in it's choice of flowers. ENJOY!

This card is an invite to a Luau Party. The colors I used are from our new In-Color Ink Pads; rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay, and Melon Mambo. What GREAT names!

This card uses soft colors such as Mellow Moss, Barely Banana, Bordering Blue, and Ruby Red. It also uses the discontinued DSP Specialty Paper Sweet Slumber (trying to use up my old products)

This card shows a Bordering Blue CS base card with an over lapping DSP in a yellow print. This DSP is from Tea Party, and it is still in the new catalog. I paired that with Ruby Red Ink & CS, and again with some of the retired Specialty DSP Sweet Slumber. A Button, Gingham ribbon, and some hand stiched lines complete the look.

This card uses Textured Soft Subtle CS in Perfect Plum. It also uses DSP from the Simply Sent Card Elements -Flower Power Kit. I used Ink colors in; Lavender Lace, Perfect Plum, and Old Olive. As a finale touch I used some Non SU! teeny self stick rhinestones I got in a .99 cent bin.

HAPPY CREATING,
KENDRA

AUGUST CLUB PHOTOS

These are a few photos from the August Card & Project Club and Scrapbook Club. Please forgive me, my photos were taken at night and they are not the best. Hopefully these will peak your interest and give you some ideas for stamping.

CARD: This card is using are newest Simply Card Kits and it's coordinating Wow Flowers stamp set. In the kit you get everything you need to make 9 complete cards. Everything but the adhesive is included in these kits.

12x12 PAGE: This page was made for both the Scrapbook and the Card & Project Club. It is one of my newest color combinations and uses Riding Hood Red & Chocolate Chip Cardstock. I also used one of our new Designer Series Papers called - Bella Rose. It uses Kiwi green, Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red & Pink Pirouette colors and is just beautiful! I even dyed the Pretties kit flower pink to match the page.

PROJECT: This is a fun & quick project for anyone. It is a cd holder out of Pink Pirouette Cardstock and some Bella Rose Designer Paper. This one was specifically designed for a wedding. It can hold a cd full of the bride & grooms favorite songs as they're thank you to their guests. For the Scrapbook Club I also designed a page with the cd holder attached. It could be a wedding Page with a disc full of wedding photos, a family reunion page with a disc full of reunion photos, or even a babies birth, or a birthday party. It's a great way to always know where the cd of your Pictures is
for that certain event! (Sorry - I didn't get a picture of the page before the hostess went home with it!)

CARD: This was the MAKE-N-TAKE card for the Card & Project Club and I also made these for my Southwest Demonstrator Swap for this month. I love this Sock Monkey set and especially enjoyed sewing floss for the balloon string.

12x12 PAGE: This was the MAKE-N-TAKE for the Scrapbook Club. I wanted to show how you could incorporate a card onto the page, especially if it is a card you really like and want to save. This page uses the card above and also some Baja Breeze Cardstock, the Scallop Edge Punch. It makes a really cute birthday page!
