Tuesday's Tool, Technique, or Tutorial...

TUTORIAL TODAY: 6 - Pointed Star

Here are instructions for a 6-pointed star:
1. Score 6 inch x 6 inch, double-sided designer paper, at 1 inch intervals. Accordion fold along the score lines.
2. Using a pencil, make a small mark at the 3 inch point (center) of the folded paper. Staple on the mark.
3. With the folded edges away from you, mark 1 inch on either side of the folded paper. Cut from this mark on the bottom edge to the top corner. Repeat on the other side.
4. Put sticky strip on each side to hold sides together for a star-shape. Punch a hole in one of the points and add a ribbon or cord for hanging.
5. You can accesorize your star with other punches as seen in this picture. I made these last year and used the Scallop Circle Punch, the "retired - snowflake punch", the 1/2" Circle Punch, and an Old Olive Brad. Make the stars your own by adding unique embellishments!
