Tuesday's Technique, Tool, or Tutorial...

Today's Tutorial is on using the new Decorative Label Punch (Holiday Mini Catalog) and being able to layer it like on the card below. So make sure to scroll down and see the picture tutoria on how to do this to create a great look on your projects.

Decorative Label Punch
#120907
$16.95
We can’t get enough of labels, and our new extra large Decorative Label punch has arrived just in time for creating cunning Christmas tags and holiday accents for all kinds of projects. It just doesn’t get any easier than punching. Use this new punch with Designer Series paper for quick but luxurious Christmas tag backgrounds or with stamped images to frame meaningful greetings and messages on cards and scrapbook pages.
■ Low-profile, rectangular punch body allows for easier stacking and storing
■ Punches lock shut for easier storage and transport
■ Dual labels on top and end allow for easy identification and selection when stored
■ New punches allow for larger punched images and more intricate designs while providing greater ease of use
■ Larger, whole-hand handle design provides better leverage for easier use
■ Available in an exclusive Stampin' Up! color
■ Coordinates with images in the Tags til Christmas stamp set
To Begin - you will need to punch (1) in White & (2) in Black. You can choose your own colors as well. Next take your paper trimmer and trim your (2) black pieces as shown in picture below.

You will throw away the two center pieces of the blacks - you won't need them.

Pull out your Two Way Glue Pen and start gluing the pieces. (see below)

I started with the two longest pieces (top & bottom)

Then glued the sides.

Your layered punch piece should now look like this. Below you will see how I used it on my card and a close up of the card banner.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have fun getting the most out of your punches!
