Tuesday's Technique, Tool, or Tutorial...

Today I have another video tutorial for you.

You may have noticed that I have been making cards with a sponged moon/sun in the background. The last few day's posts have had this in common. The video I'm sharing with you today is of a card/technique that I demonstrated this month in my clubs called Moonlight Highlight.

I still have not figured out how to get the size of the video to work in "blogger"...so if you click HERE you can view the video of how to create this card.

SUNDAY SHARE...

I wanted to share this fun idea with you. Often we forget that there are many different mediums that we can stamp on. I rarely stamp on Designer Paper...but have come to do it more often lately, especially since getting the "Newsprint" DSP.
The first thing I did was cut my layers of CS. Then with my BIG SHOT - I cut out a "Top Note" out of CS so that it would be stiff enough to sponge around. I then took my Baja Breeze Pad and sponged around the edges of the top note directly on top of the Newsprint DSP. I then used markers on my stamp image from the set..."Just Believe" and stamped it directly onto the center of the DSP.
I stamped my greeting onto Vanilla CS & punched out my greeting with the large oval, and also punched a scallop oval from Peach Parfait CS. I also used my Boho Blossom Punch and with Baja Breeze CS punched out a flower from it. I used my Cropadile to punch a large circle for the center of my flower. I used Early Espresso to ink up all my edges and assembled my card adding some crochet trim and a small rhinestone jewel.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Friday's Spotlight...

Background stamps can add a lot of pizzazz to your creations. With the ease of such a large scale stamp (it can cover an area of about 6"x 6" if not more), it makes for easy use. It can add interest, texture, and it can draw the eye into your creation. On the cards above I stamped it twice on each project using my Early Espresso & More Mustard ink pads.
Try one of our large background stamps the next time you create.

Wednesday's Card or Scrapbook Page Share...

Today I have (2) cards to share with you. Both use the same monochromatic color scheme, and are very minimal. Just some designer paper, ribbon or brads to accent the artwork. I apologize for my watermark the last few days...I'm using a different computer and photo editing program this week and for some reason...it's not being cooperative!
The sets I used were Countryside and Just Believe. By clicking HERE you can learn more about these great sets and any of the accessories.
