A Card For The Weekend!

Hi there everyone and a happy weekend to you all!- I just wanted to post a quick and fairly easy card to make. I love this set! I know I probably say that about EVERY set...but this and Upsy Daisy are right up there at the top of my list! I used Old Olive, Pretty in Pink, and Whisper White CS. I used Old Olive, Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Pretty in Pink, and Rose Red markers. Pretty in Pink grosgrain and a retired Old Olive poly twill ribbon and a Round rhinestone brad to embellish. I also used a Non-SU! item which I do rarely...but a customer of mine turned me on to these glitters called stickles, and I used fruit punch to highlight areas on my flower. I hope you all have a great weekend and get some stamping time in amongst the soccer, baseball, softball, shopping, chores, and family time! Kendra

Fall Fun!

I know I'm jumping the gun here and getting a little ahead of myself, but yesterday was the first official day of Fall and I just got my pre-ordered pack of "Autumn Vine" designer paper. I was dying to try and make a card with a turkey on it this year after seeing my dear friend and Up Line, Sue Brown make a really cute turkey napkin ring.
This card uses the scallop circle punch, 3/4" circle punch, regular hole punch, the large tag punch, and a die cut flower for the feet and beak. It was so fun to try this and put him together & I think with all the beautiful designer papers - he is fabulous! The second card is a fun size of 6x3 and I used the die cut blooms again and a circle rhinestone for the center. To keep with the Thankful/Grateful theme...I used the warm words set. Happy Fall.

Sweet Treats For you!

Just another idea for you. These glasses I purchased today at the dollar store. I used the "Thrills and Chills" Rub On's from Stampin' Up!
Then I added a few candy corns and a pumpkin tealight in the middle of them. These took about 10 minutes to make. You could even add some ribbons to dress them up a little. These are perfect for a table centerpiece, your kitchen counter, or to decorate the house and can be enjoyed while you pass out candy to the Trick-Or-Treaters!

September Club Demonstrations

This was an "UNDER 5 CARD". This card took less than 5 minutes to make with this super cute set. The set is called "Upsy Daisy" and is on special $16.11 thru the end of the month. I used white cardstock as my base card. Then I cut strips of Old Olive, Bordering Blue, and Bravo Burgandy (varying widths). Now I'm ready to assemble. I first stamped my image in the upper top left corner in Old Olive ink. Then with adhesive I started from the bottom and went up adhering my strips of cardstock. Then take your Horzontal Slot Punch and punch (2) that your Bravo Burgandy Grosgrain ribbon can slide thru and be tied in a knot. Then stamp your saying in the bottom right hand corner on the Old Olive strip in coordinating ink. You have a quick and easy card in under 5. If you have more time - try some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on the flowers or ink around the edges of your card with a sponge! I cased this card on SPS but can not remember who's site I saw this on to give them credit!

This is a cute and quick way to dress up a miniture candy bar. I used a kit kat bar and a piece of paper from the Ghostly Greetings Designer Paper. I wrapped the candy, crimped the ends, and added a paper band (reverse of decorative paper). Then I cut a square of white cardstock and used the Chills & Thrills Rub On's to create the pumpkins face. I then sponged Pumpkin Pie Ink around the edges and used the black hemp twine to secure the pumkin square to the Kiwi Kiss Satin Ribbon tied around the candy bar. There you have it - a very cute treat for family, friends, co-workers, class members or ghosts and gobblins!!!

This was such a fun page to demonstrate for my gals. I used the Just Jawing stamp set (THANKS KELLY!) and made it work for an everyday "YOU ROCK" page in Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip. I also used the Sticky Cut Letters and Fine Cosmo Glitter. We dressed up the skull by adding a punched flower (5 petal punch) and a large round Rhinestone Brad.

This was the Make-N-Take 12x12 page for the Scrapbook Club gals. It also uses the Just Jawing Set from Stampin' Up! and makes an adorable page. The small orange squares are for pictures of scars, fingernails, the candy bowl, or even a black cat. When taking your photos this Halloween, think beyond the normal 4x6 size picture!

This card was also made using the Just Jawing Stamp Set. It is a fun and cute everyday look in a 3x6 size card. This was the Make-N-Take for the Card & Project Club gals this month.

This page was created from the Bella Rose Paper from Stampin' Up! It creates a small pocket for a tag and also a larger pocket for letters/cards or just a note of thought to go along with your picture.

TRICK-OR-TREAT!

These are some fun, quick, and cute Halloween ideas for you. Most of these use the Ghostly Greetings Designer Paper. Both Frankenstines were made by other demonstrators and I received them in swaps - YEAH! They are so cute!!!
These are sure to put a smile on any trick or treaters face, or friend, teacher or family member! Have fun getting ready for the holiday by creating some fun projects that will haunt this year for sure. BOO!
* Some items used are not SU!
