Mojo Monday Challenge...

OOPS!
I made a mistake...it's not my first, and it won't be my last! But because of it, you will get to see (2) Mojo Ispirations to get your brain going this morning. This is the actual Mojo Monday Sketch above. The one below is the Sunday Mojo Sketch...and I did that one by mistake then when I went to upload it to their gallery, I saw my mistake!
My card uses the Party Hearty Set, Apricot Appeal, Regal Rose, Whisper White, and Rose Red Card Stock. I used Melon Mambo and Apricot Appeal Ink Pads. My Embellishments are; Glitter, Ticket Corner Punch, and 5/8" Regal Rose Ribbon.
You can view more cards using this particular design HERE!

For my Mojo Sunday Challenge Card this week, I used the Upsy Daisy Stamp Set, Whisper White, Sahara Sand, Old Olive, Kraft, & Bordering Blue, & Basic Black Card Stock. Bordering Blue, Sahara Sand, & Black StazOn Ink Pads. My Embellishments are (3) Black Brads and 5/8" Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon. Technique Used: Direct To Paper - (which means I took my ink pad directly to my cardstock and inked it up).

I hope you feel inspired and want to play along...go HERE if you'd like to view other cards from this challege.

HAPPY STAMPING,
KENDRA

Friday's "Stamp Set Spotlight"...

Today's set spotlight is...Petal Pizzazz.
You can find this set in the new catalog on page 113 and in the old catalog on page 90. It is a set of (7) for $32.95. Below are four cards I designed using this set. It is very versatile in it's choice of flowers. ENJOY!

This card is an invite to a Luau Party. The colors I used are from our new In-Color Ink Pads; rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay, and Melon Mambo. What GREAT names!

This card uses soft colors such as Mellow Moss, Barely Banana, Bordering Blue, and Ruby Red. It also uses the discontinued DSP Specialty Paper Sweet Slumber (trying to use up my old products)

This card shows a Bordering Blue CS base card with an over lapping DSP in a yellow print. This DSP is from Tea Party, and it is still in the new catalog. I paired that with Ruby Red Ink & CS, and again with some of the retired Specialty DSP Sweet Slumber. A Button, Gingham ribbon, and some hand stiched lines complete the look.

This card uses Textured Soft Subtle CS in Perfect Plum. It also uses DSP from the Simply Sent Card Elements -Flower Power Kit. I used Ink colors in; Lavender Lace, Perfect Plum, and Old Olive. As a finale touch I used some Non SU! teeny self stick rhinestones I got in a .99 cent bin.

HAPPY CREATING,
KENDRA

Color Throw Down Challenge Card

Okay, it's now been eight weeks since my first Color Throw Down Card! I can't believe it. I have found myself wondering the night before what color combinations they are going to use, on more than one occassion I have thought about checking the site at midnight to see if the new colors have been posted, and I have enjoyed using color combinations that I may not have used otherwise. This is a great way to get you out of your comfort zone and can be a great way to inspire you out of a downward spiral of crafters bock! I hope you take the challenge this week and participate. Even if you don't have the exact colors...make a card using what you have! Below is my challenge card - I hope it inspires you to pull out your stamps and play!
Sets: Petal Pizazz #113417 & Really Retro #113754.

Wheel: Daisy Dash Jumbo Wheel #111255
Inks: Barely Banana # 101170, Basic Black #101179, & Real Red #103133
CS: Textured Barely Banana #108695, Basic Black #102851, Whisper White #100730, Real Red # 102482
DSP: Sweet Slumber Specialty #114037
Accessories: 5/8" Real red Grosgrain Ribbon #109052, Dimensionals #104430, Sponges #101610, Mat Pack # 105826, Corner Rounder Punch # 109047, Circle Fire Brads #109110, Stapler

This is a close up so you can see that I took the rhinestone gem out of the brad. I just wanted to use the gem itself on this card.

I just used a regular old stapler to add this element to my card. So have you been inspired? Check out all the other cards that have been uploaded for this challenge at this LINK. I hope you will go pull out your stamps and play, and have some FUN!

HAPPY STAMPING,
KENDRA
