Friday's Spotlight...

ATTENTION: Today's spotlight is on a few more items that will not be available after today since the Ocassions Catalog expires. So enjoy the samples and if you wish to place an order before these items are gone...then click HERE (and just hit "Shop Now" in upper right hand corner), email me, or give me a call @ (520) 744-2537!
The Awash In Spring Set is actually a sneek peak for customers to order it early before the new catalog is unveiled in July. I have really enjoyed this set because it has solid and outline images that can be used alone or together!

This is another set that I have REALLY enjoyed! Messages for Mom is a versitile set that can be used for many ocassions...not just Mother's day. I especially have enjoyed using the sentiments on scrapbook pages!

This has been another of my FAVORITE Ocassion Mini Catalog Items! I LOVE this textured embossing folder "Perfect Polka Dots". It has added so much to my projects! You really won't want to miss out on this item - it's a must have:)

I hope you have a wonderful weekend and get a little bit of a chance to create something - Kendra

My Digital Studio Project Share...

Today I wanted to share (2) MDS projects with you. The first is a card. In the first photograph you can see the "Pre-Made" image. The second shows you the emellishments I added. The card size is a 6"x6".

The second MDS Project I'm sharing today is another "Pre-Made" layout. In the first photograph you can see how it pops up in your program. The second photo shows how I change a few items...for example, the photo layout. I then just dragged and dropped my photo into place and added my text! Super easy, and so much fun to do. The (2) projects I am sharing with you took less than 15 minutes to complete! Contact me if you'd like to learn more or borrow a DVD that shares with you what My Digital Studio is all about.

Card or Scrapbook Share...

I made this page from scratch and demonstrated it this month in my clubs. The way I made the flower is by running a piece of So Saffron Cardstock through the Big Shot using the Perfect polka Dots Embossing Folder. Then I rubbed my Chocolate Chip Ink Pad over the top of it. I then punched (4) Flowers from it using the Fancy Flower Punch. I distressed the flowers by crinkling them up in my hands and then opening them up and doing it over and over again until I reached a stage that the cardtock was soft and I was able to work with it to create folds, and texture. I did this to all (4) and then adhered them together using snail adhesive just in the middle. The bottom was the largest and then it went to the smallest. I then pierced a hole in them and added a Corduroy Button.
Super easy - but a major WOW factor to any project, card, or scrapbook page.
Have a terrific Wednesday - Kendra
Order yours today by going HERE. The Ocassions Mini Catalog Expires this Friday and this punch will not be available until the new catalog comes out in July.

Friday's Spotlight...

Today I wanted to spotlight stenciling. I actually made a stencil using my Big Shot and my Tulip SU! Die and a piece of chipboard. Look at your dies and see which one's you can use to make stencils...and get even more use & diversity out of them. You will need a stencil brush, (a sponge or sponge dauber will work - but with different outcomes) and your choice of ink along with your die cut stencil.

Make sure though when you die cut your stencil to keep your "positive" die cut pieces like the ones in this picture. This way you can use them as elements on other projects like the card below.

I cut a piece of Designer Paper - Bella Bleu, and glued it to the chipboard piece to use on this card. You can paint them, add card stock or designer paper, apply ink with a brayer or sponge, and even glitter!

On this project I only used part of the stencil by running it off my cardstock. On this card you also get a sneek peak at a new product that will be available in the Summer Mini Catalog which begins May 1st...it is called Smooch Spritz. The color I used on the card below is Log Cabin which has a beautiful bronze shimmer to it.

This is a 12x12 very simple scrapbook page. Club members got to make this under 10 minute page and made a technique card for their rings this month.

This is a close-up of the stenciled image that Club Members got to make on their page and technique card. We also used the Spritzer Tool with the Chocolate Chip Marker and the Warm Words set to add a little to the stenciled image.

I hope you have a fabulous weekend and are able to paper craft a little! Make sure to look at your dies to see which ones you can use to cut a stencil.

Thanks for stopping by - Kendra

Tuesday's Technique, Tool, or Tutorial...

Thanks for checking out today's Tutorial: Quick & Easy Box
Below are pictures and instructions for you. The fun is in how you dress up this simple box to make it your own. On mine I attached the flower directly to the ribbon so that my friends daughter could use it in her hair if she wanted to later on. You won't believe just how easy this is to make until you try it...so find 20 minutes to steel away, and create!
HAPPY TUESDAY - Kendra

Told you...super easy! My watermark is hiding the cute Chocolate Chip Epoxy Brad I used in the center - sorry! But have fun dressing up your very own "easy box".

My Digital Studio Project Share...

Today I have a card & page that I made from scratch and also a pre-made page that took very little time. Details for each item are below. I hope you enjoy this weeks Digital Projects - Kendra
To View the latest My Digital Studio Downloads...Click HERE!
This page uses one of the latest new Digital Downloads called "Vintage Overlays", which are a great fun to work with. This page I created from scratch!

This page was created in about five minutes...maybe less! This is one of the "Pre-Made" pages that My Digital Studio's offers. I simply dragged my picture into place and added text...and it's completed.

Just a quick card that I completed in about five minutes which uses the "Friends 24-7 Set and some Script Designer Paper. A few embelishments complete the card!
